Start your U.S. company from anywhere in the world.

We register a U.S. company (an LLC) for you online, wherever you live, and send you every document you need to use Stripe, sell on Amazon and open a U.S. business bank account.

Plans start at $128, plus the U.S. state’s own registration fee.

  • No travel needed
  • Total agreed before you pay

We pass the state’s fee on at cost, with nothing added. Fintax prepares and files company documents and is not a law firm.

One U.S. company opens all of these

Some of these don’t accept sellers from every country, but all of them accept a U.S. company. Once yours is registered and has its tax number (EIN), you sign up as an American business.

  • Keep your personal money separate

That’s what LLC stands for. Your company has its own name, bank account and bills, so if the business owes money or is sued, your personal savings and home are usually protected.

Keep it that way by paying business costs from the company’s account, never your own

Each platform checks you and your business before it opens an account. We tell you which ones accept founders in your country before you pay.

How a payment reaches your bank at home

  4. You send it home

Your company’s paperwork, in plain words

You’ll hear these four names a lot. Here is what each one is, and who will ask you for it.

  • Articles of Organization

Your company’s birth certificate. The state issues it when your company is registered, and it proves the company exists.

    Who asks for it

    • Banks
    • Stripe
    • Amazon
    • Walmart
  • EIN

Your company’s tax number, a bit like an ID card number for the business. The IRS gives one to any U.S. company that applies, even one owned from abroad, and you don’t need employees to get it.

    Who asks for it

    • Banks
    • Stripe
    • PayPal
    • Amazon
    • Payoneer
    • Wise
  • Registered agent

A U.S. office that accepts official letters for your company, from the state or a court, and scans them to you. Every state requires one, and every plan includes it.

    Who asks for it

    • The state, by law
  • Operating Agreement

Your company’s rulebook. It says who owns the company and who can sign for it. Banks read it before they open an account for you.

    Who asks for it

    • Banks
    • Some payment platforms

ITIN and trademark registration

Two extras many founders add once their company is set up. You don’t need either one to start, and we’ll tell you on the first call if you do.

For you, the owner

ITIN registration

A personal U.S. tax number for you, the owner, from the IRS. It’s for people who can’t get a U.S. Social Security number.

You may need one to

  • File a personal U.S. tax return
  • Open a payment or bank account that asks for your own U.S. tax number
  • Use your country’s tax treaty with the U.S. to pay less tax

What we do

The IRS only gives an ITIN to people with a U.S. tax reason for one, so we check that first. Then we fill in the application (Form W-7), check your documents and send it to the IRS.

You’ll need
A valid passport
Usually takes
7 to 11 weeks at the IRS
From
$250

The IRS doesn’t charge a fee for an ITIN.

For your brand

Trademark registration

Makes your brand name or logo officially yours in the U.S., registered with the government’s brand office, the USPTO.

You may need one to

  • Join Amazon Brand Registry, which protects your product listings
  • Stop other sellers using your brand name in the U.S.
  • Protect your name before you spend on marketing

What we do

We search for similar brands that could block yours. Then a U.S.-licensed trademark lawyer files your application, which the USPTO requires for owners outside the U.S., and we keep you updated until it’s registered.

You’ll need
Your brand name or logo
Usually takes
12 to 18 months at the USPTO
From
$350 plus USPTO fees

The USPTO charges $350 for each type of product or service your brand covers, such as clothing or software.

Founders we work with, around the world

Your company is registered in the United States while you stay at home. We know which banks and payment platforms accept founders in each of these countries.

Live somewhere else? Tell us where you are and we’ll confirm what works for you.

Questions founders ask first

If yours isn’t here, ask us on WhatsApp. A person replies, usually the same day.

More questions about cost and yearly filing

I’ve never done this before. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most founders we work with are setting up their first company. We explain each step in plain words on WhatsApp, fill in every form for you, and tell you exactly what to send.

Is a U.S. LLC a real, legal company?

Yes. It’s registered with a U.S. state government in exactly the same way as a company owned by an American, and anyone can look it up on the state’s public business search.

Can I own a U.S. LLC if I don’t live in the United States?

Yes. U.S. states don’t require owners to be citizens or to live in the U.S. The state does require a registered agent and a U.S. address, and every plan includes both for 12 months.

Do I need to travel to the United States?

No. Forming the company and getting the EIN are done remotely. Some banks and payment platforms run their own identity checks, which may mean a video call or extra documents.

Which state should I choose?

Many founders abroad pick Wyoming or New Mexico because they cost little to keep each year, or Delaware if they plan to raise money from investors. We suggest a state based on where your customers are and what the company will cost you each year.

Do I need an ITIN?

Not to set up your company or get its EIN. You may need one later for a personal U.S. tax return or for some payment platforms. We’ll tell you on the first call whether it applies to you.

Start today. Your company could be filed by next week.

Tell us a little about your business. You don’t need to know the state or the plan yet.

  1. We reply on WhatsApp or email within one business day.
  2. We agree the state, the plan and the total before you pay.
  3. We file, and send you each document as soon as it’s issued.

We use your details only to reply to this enquiry. Fintax is not a law firm.
